King of the Faeries (Rí na Síog)
Here are the steps to the traditional set dance.
The format here is simply the words that were used to teach the steps in class.
Red text indicates the right foot, blue text indicates the left foot and green text indicates both feet. Anything in brackets is optional (this refers mainly to the toes in rolls, which can be left out when first learning the dance).
The step is danced twice: once on the right and then once on the left, so the feet indications should be reversed for the second time through. The set is danced just once.
